Here for be thy newsings 06/14/2007 I've added some new members today. If I missed you, then send me an email and bug me until I add you. I tend to be very forgetful. It happens juggling college, work, and so many websites. One of our new members, Plantman 103 comes bearing fanart, so check the fan stuff section too. Lastly I've updated links with another of my web offspring, and updated submission guidelines, for anyone sending in fanfics. Also our forum has recieved a software upgrade. If you don't like the new look, you can go into your user control panel and change your style back to "sub silver" which is the old look. 01/05/2007 Wow I've been busy. Has it really been so long since an update? Well better late than never. There's some new art pieces from myself and Lollipop. That's about it really. I've gone through and fixed some dead links here and there too. Also I'm aware that some people wanted to be added to the members page. If you've applied and your name still isn't up, email me again. Seems I lost most of my inbox during some overzealous cleaning on my part. But in the good news, if you weren't one of the lucky few whom aquired the big box O swag with Portrait of Ruin, I'll let you in on it. Circle of the Moon, Legacy of Darkness, and Castlevania 64 have been restored to their proper places in the timeline. You're welcome to shove this in the face of anyone who says Carrie isn't official. It puts a big smile on my face. 02/22/2006 Notice something different? CFAS got a new design. After numerous requests I've finally redesigned the site. Personally I think the old version had more personality than this version but this one is much more clean looking. I also added one new fanart from myself and one from Lollipop, and a few new Carrie pics in the screenshots and CG renders. 12/21/2005 Oops. I kind of forgot to update for a while. Well there are three new fanarts from me, a new fanart from Sarochi, and a new fanfic from kevin fong. There's a small wav file of Carrie's voice added under official info too. 07/30/2005 The Update visits again. We've got a fistfull of new members (four of them actually) One new concept art and I've also reorganized the pics section into categories to make it easier to find what you're looking for. There are two new fanarts from me as well. I know some of you have sent in things that didn't go up in this update. I didn't have access to my email when I was making this one so anything you don't see this time will be up in a few days when I make the next update. But updates aren't where the news stops today. Official news from Konami that'll make most of you CV fans happy. Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow for Nintendo DS as some of you may already know will feature music from the composer of Symphony of the Night. That's cool in and of its self for hard rock themes but recently it was announced that he'll be working with the composer for Legacy of Darkness as well meaning we'll likely be getting an awsome mix of the ambient atmospheric tones that set the mood so well for LoD with the ass kicking rock stylings of SotN. Things are looking bright for DS owning Castlevaniacs. If you lack a DS I'd recomend going out to buy one. Between Dawn of Sorrow, the NES rerelease of CV1, and the 3 GBA games You'll be able to play well over half the CV games ever made on the thing. I think that's reason enough to buy it. I'd also like to take a moment to urge all LoD fans to write konami and encourage them to make Legacy of Darkness available for Download on the Nintendo Revolution. Not much but I'll kick my own ass into updating more often. 12/08/2004 A small update today. Lollipop sent an awsome new pic as a christmas card to CFAS. Also Alex Villa has joined us. Say hello. And sorry to him for taking so long. I've been juggling lots of websites lately and sometimes I fall behind on updating one. 11/04/2004 Only one thing today. I've moved to a new email address because of piles of spam chasing me away from my current one. I've now got a GMAIL address. Same name as the old one just @gmail.com instead of @mail.com. it's reflected wherever my name is on the site. Note I didn't actually spell it out. Not letting my gmail account get cought by spambots. 10/09/2004 It's been a while since I last updated but this is a good one. I've added several new pics from myself, Victor Cardigan joined our little shindig, and provided us with anew link to his website. A very good one in fact. Take a look at writer's workshop. Good isht there. 08/29/2004 Updates today. First of all CV Xtacy has moved to a new location and the links have been changed to reflect that. Added a new affilliate site "The Clocktower." Also I've added SariaRocks to the members. Not to be confused with Saria. 08/03/2004 Updated on two fronts today. There are two new members so say hello to them. Also two new fanarts from me are up. Check fanstuff for two new fanarts from me. 07/11/2004 Okay this time I really did update Kevin Fong's fanfic, "Darkness Becomes me" Chapter 5 updated as he requested and chapters 6 through 9 added. Go read this piece of excellence. 07/10/2004 New member today. Say hello to Justin Fernandez. Also link added to Quita's new Rosa shrine. Go apreciate another great character from this underapreciated game. In personal news I've gotten a game boy player and am currently working my way through the excellent circle of the moon. But man this thing is hard. Which is how castlevania should be. And as I write this I remember that I forgot to update Kevin Fong's fanfic. Well damn. I'll get it next time. 06/24/2004 Today lots and lots of fanart from me. Go check it out, I think you'll enjoy. Also while chapter 5 of Kevin Fong's fanfic "Darkness becomes her" has been updated chapters 6 and 7 have been added. 05/23/2004 Thanks to Quita for a new fanart. That's about all today. Atr least I got it up quickly as she sent it in on my day off. Do take a look over at Castlevania Disharmony though. Incase any of you haven't noticed yet, Role playing and quests have started and it's already getting pretty active. Remember even if your characters isn't accepted you can try again until you get it right. EDIT- Sorry to say but the new chapters of darkness becomes her are not up. I discovered that the files were corrupted and will have to go get some fresh ones and re-edit. Even though the links are up the files are not. I'll have them up as soon as fanfiction.net starts working again. 05/02/2004 Black Legacy chapter 3 is up. I'm really enjoying writing this and creating the feeling of suspense. Hope everyone's enjoying it. So go have a read. And don't forget to go over to disharmony and check the latest news there too. 04/20/2004 A fanfic update today. I realized the link to Damnation's prelude was bad and corrected it. You'll notice the fanfic now is also in HTML which should solve all problems with having to horizontal scroll. Next you'll notice the fic is no longer called Damnation's prelude. That was a working title and I've decided on the name "Black Legacy." Finally you'll notice a second chapter of the same fic is up. Read and enjoy. In addition a new website is up for you castlevania fans. Castlevania: Disharmony a Castlevania RPG. The links section has been updated with this as well. But wait, there's more! notice the addition of the words "SPAMTHISBITCH" to my email address. This is to protect me from automated spambots finding my email address. Just remove the phrase to email me. In addition if anyoone else wants their email address obfuscated all around the site just tell me via the message board or email and I'll do it for you too. 04/10/2004 Wow it's the month of the update and what else, it's also the month of my return to fanfiction. Thanks to people who've been poking me to get back to work on my fanfiction via boards, IMs and Email. I'm glad to know everyone loves my work so much. So take a look in fanstuff at the first chapter of my latest work Prelude to Damnation. Sorry that Carrie isn't actually in the first chapter but she will show up in chapter 2. 04/08/2004 Just a minor correction. The member formerly known as Mochizuki would preffer to be reffered to as AKiCAN (meaning empty can) I've made changes regarding that. The site formerly reffered to "Dracula revelation and outside transmission" which I had to conclude from babelfish's crappy translation is now called "ENE Smash" The owner (AkiCAN) tells me this is what happens when Carrie does a ring smash with an energy ball charged. I already knew about that part and that I believe is the correct name of the site, given I didn't again make a mistake due to the language barrier. Wish I'd finished learning japanese. Anyway that's all for today. Sorry nothing new. Ducks bricks 04/05/2004 Good happy updates come today. Kevin fong has completed Chapter 5 of Darkness Becomes her and revised chapter 3 so go take a look and enjoy. Check members and you'll notice Kitsune has updated her comments, and there are two new members, Sakura and Mochizuki. Actually Mochizuki's site I've linked to for some time and Mochizuki has linked to mine for even longer. I didn't even discover this for quite a while. So actually this was long overdue. Hope Mochizuki isn't mad at me for taking so long. On top of that some of Mochizuki's fanart has been added to the site so if you haven't already seen it on Dracula revolations & outside transmission go take a look at them here. Finally I've fixed the webring link and it should be functioning again soon. If I've made any mistakes here do inform me. And sorry for being so damn lazy. 02/12/2004 Updates both Major and Minor today. First of all the Major. Kevin Fong's "Darkness Becomes Her" is now updated. Chaptuers up to 5 are now added, and the first two chapters have also been updated, I've slightly updated the submission guidelines regarding fanfiction.net Also I've removed two fanarts under Lollipop's listing. Don't freak this isn't a bad thing. It was my mistake you see. Since his and another site of a friend of his (the japanese carrie shrine) are both in japanese and with Babelfish not properly trnalsating names I initialy mistook both of them for the same person. So the two removed were pictures not created by Lollipop but another artist. I should have recognized the different drawing styles right off the bat so my bad on that. And if you miss the pics don't worry I'll add them back along with others later, after I've properly acredited the artist. 02/04/2004 CFAS aparently has become so popular it was causing my tripod webspace to hit a bandwidth cap. I had already been preparing to migrate the site and now it's happened. If all went well you're reading this on stalo.com. Stalo is hosted by Mac whom you probably know from the forum. Stalo runs from an ISP with a dual T1 line, and sits on an uninteruptable power suply. The biggest difference you'll notice is that the Tripod banners and popups are gone. Also we have a shorter URL. So remember http://cfas.stalo.com That's CFAS hosted on stalo with a .com stuck on the end. 01/04/2004 A smaller update today. I've edited the members listing to only contain actual people. The affiliate websites have been moved to their own section which you'll notice on the main page. That will make updating a little easier for me and more obvious for first timers to find the links section. Also Kevin Fong's Darkness Becomes Me fanfic was prematurely added. Chapter 2 was incomplete. I've now added the complete version of the chapter so go and enjoy. 01/01/2004 Happy New Year everyone. Can you believe CFAS has been around for 3 years already? Some members have just signed up and gone quiet and nothing wrong with that. Participation isn't necessary for being a fan. It's just cool that they declared their fandom for a character in a game that isn't "cool" and wasn't even on a popular system. But hey it's a good game and a cool character. We can like what we want to. My new years resolutions. Get a decent job, Build a robot.. ..yeah you heard me. a robot. Incidentaly my favorite CV boss is the gear boss from Bloodlines. And finaly to write more fanfics and sharpen up my writing skills. Anyway by now you're sick of hearing me talk so on to the updates. Fanfics have been updated with three pieces from Kevin Fong who may well be a new master of angst if he keeps it up. Chapter 22 of Dark Haven is up. Darkness Becomes her has been added, the second chapter of Darkness Becomes her is added. In addition I've made a small fanart update. A mouse art added that I did to test the optical mouse my brother got me for Christmas, and I've re edited the "Carrie Casting a Spell" pic which is now larger and just plain better than the old version. It's noted in the description as well so you won't miss it. Finaly I've updated submission guidelines with a little extra info about fanfics. I haven't actually had problems with people sending .doc files but I figured I'd add a bit of info just in case. Anyway here's to another year of CFAS. 12/27/2003 Several new chapters of the fanfic Dark Haven have been added so go and enjoy. I'll get the ending of it up soon. Also thanks to Pyst Dude a number of high res screenshots from CV64 have been added in pics. As for CV news...There is no news today. I guess I could pass on the Lament of Innocence reviews for people who don't check them. Graphics good, music...(it's castlevania of course the music rocks hard), gameplay average though lagged a bit by block puzzles and repetative jumps, Story downright bad. overall Xplay gave it a 3/5 the middle of the board average score. 10/05/2003 Apologies to Quita. Not only has despite our differences link been fucked up for 6 bloody months. Seriously Quita if I do that again hit me with a sock full of batteries or something. It's fixed now. I flubbed the link to one of her recent fanarts little pian now fixed. And I misspelled her name in the below news post. The girl is cursed I think. That or you're reading a website written by a dumbass. 10/09/2003 New stuff today. Go check the members page for our newest member and fanstuff for his fanfic "dark haven" and expect further chapters soon. And let's not forget the generous contribution of 3 fanarts by Quita. at this rate she'll pass me in amount of works on the site. As well i forgot to update the news but earlier this month I added a new wallpaper from Quita and updated submission guidelines. So go check out the good stuff. 09/18/2003 A small update today. A new link added in members. Lolipop actually told me about this site a year ago but I lost the URL and only found it again recently. It's a pretty good art site but I can't get babelfish to propelry translate the name. Must be in Kanji. I also added a new Wallpaper from Quita. Finally I'd like to say that a friend of mine has found a scanner and is currently working on it so soon I may be able to scan new fanart for the site. That's all for now. Hopefully a bigger update later. 08/01/2003 Not a very big update today just a small bit of fanart from myself. You'll find two new pics from me in fanstuff. That's all for now. Not much of an update but I don't want the site to become inactive. 06/03/2003 Damn I'm so lazy. I've been working on this update for a little while. First of all Reinhardt changed his email address, New fanart from Lolypop, and Pyst dude with his Carrie sprites. A tiny bit more info on the official info page. Finally just for me I renamed the files related to the fanfic "My tainted childhood" from "Tainted-Child" to "taincild" why you ask? Because when I'm on WinMX (file sharing program) people kept downloading the file. Buncha friggin' perverts out there. 04/24/2003 Two new members added and some fanart and a wallpaper by me. Also thanks to Pyst dude for suplying some of the concept art from CV64. You'll find those in the pics section. since some of the older pics were cut from the full scans I've deleted some redundant pics. Enjoy. One final bit of news. Aparenlty Konami is taking the dip into the realm of 3D castlevania again. I've only seen two screenshots on a japanese website. It might be an attempt to revive CV resurection and suposedly it will be on PS2 (though that's only rumor) I'll try to get updated info on the forum later. 03/28/2003 Updates today. First of all our newest member is Pyst Dude. Second I've added the official info section I was talking about on the Forum. It's still a baby so it's going to be growing as time goes by. And for the newbies I've added the submissions Guidelines section. Fan stuff has been updated with my colored version of one of Saria's pics (listed under my works) hope it's okay with her. I can't seem to contact her to get permission. Finally... HOLY CRAP. I hadn't even realized the site had been around for one year much less for TWO. Sniff they grow up so fast. 03/18/2003 Whew that was a hard 2 weeks. I'm back and glat to be here. I thank good friends for it and count my blessings. In the time I would normally have been surfing...let's just say I was playing A LOT of Castlevania. Anyway on to the updates. I've changed his entries on the site to reflect that. Sorry there haven't been many updates. Uhg this cold weather has screwed me up. A little update for all of you guys still waiting for me to get that scanner. I added a new pic of Carrie in the pics of Carrie section. It's another look at those prototype pics. Not much of an update I know but at least we can try and guess what it would be like if our favorite sorceress appeared in a new 2D Castlevania game. HINT HINT KONAMI! We got a new member yay!!! Another tallented artist and writer and rabid Carrie fan. So say hello to Quita. You know not too long ago I said to myself "I'll make a website devoted to a character no one else seems to care about. Well I was pleasantly surprized to see all of you people signing up and declaring your apreciation of this wonderfully creepy little girl. I'm happy now. Everyone say hello to our new friend Crescent Lancer whom has just joined the group. This just happens to be the writer of Trials of the heart the kickass fic that was put up not too long ago. Of course since that fic has moved under a member name the non members area of fan stuff went bye bye. I'll bring it back if I ever get any other non member fan works. Only one thing today. I've moved to a new email address because of piles of spam chasing me away from my current one. I've now got a GMAIL address. Same name as the old one just @gmail.com instead of @mail.com. it's reflected wherever my name is on the site. Note I didn't actually spell it out. Not letting my gmail account get cought by spambots.

In personal news I've gotten a game boy player and am currently working my way through the excellent circle of the moon. But man this thing is hard. Which is how castlevania should be. And as I write this I remember that I forgot to update Kevin Fong's fanfic. Well damn. I'll get it next time.

Thanks to Quita for a new fanart. That's about all today. Atr least I got it up quickly as she sent it in on my day off. Do take a look over at Castlevania Disharmony though. Incase any of you haven't noticed yet, Role playing and quests have started and it's already getting pretty active. Remember even if your characters isn't accepted you can try again until you get it right. EDIT- Sorry to say but the new chapters of darkness becomes her are not up. I discovered that the files were corrupted and will have to go get some fresh ones and re-edit. Even though the links are up the files are not. I'll have them up as soon as fanfiction.net starts working again.

A fanfic update today. I realized the link to Damnation's prelude was bad and corrected it. You'll notice the fanfic now is also in HTML which should solve all problems with having to horizontal scroll. Next you'll notice the fic is no longer called Damnation's prelude. That was a working title and I've decided on the name "Black Legacy." Finally you'll notice a second chapter of the same fic is up. Read and enjoy.

In addition a new website is up for you castlevania fans. Castlevania: Disharmony a Castlevania RPG. The links section has been updated with this as well.

Wow it's the month of the update and what else, it's also the month of my return to fanfiction. Thanks to people who've been poking me to get back to work on my fanfiction via boards, IMs and Email. I'm glad to know everyone loves my work so much. So take a look in fanstuff at the first chapter of my latest work Prelude to Damnation. Sorry that Carrie isn't actually in the first chapter but she will show up in chapter 2.

Just a minor correction. The member formerly known as Mochizuki would preffer to be reffered to as AKiCAN (meaning empty can) I've made changes regarding that. The site formerly reffered to "Dracula revelation and outside transmission" which I had to conclude from babelfish's crappy translation is now called "ENE Smash" The owner (AkiCAN) tells me this is what happens when Carrie does a ring smash with an energy ball charged. I already knew about that part and that I believe is the correct name of the site, given I didn't again make a mistake due to the language barrier. Wish I'd finished learning japanese. Anyway that's all for today. Sorry nothing new. *Ducks bricks*

Good happy updates come today. Kevin fong has completed Chapter 5 of Darkness Becomes her and revised chapter 3 so go take a look and enjoy. Check members and you'll notice Kitsune has updated her comments, and there are two new members, Sakura and Mochizuki. Actually Mochizuki's site I've linked to for some time and Mochizuki has linked to mine for even longer. I didn't even discover this for quite a while. So actually this was long overdue. Hope Mochizuki isn't mad at me for taking so long. On top of that some of Mochizuki's fanart has been added to the site so if you haven't already seen it on Dracula revolations & outside transmission go take a look at them here. Finally I've fixed the webring link and it should be functioning again soon. If I've made any mistakes here do inform me. And sorry for being so damn lazy.

Updates both Major and Minor today. First of all the Major. Kevin Fong's "Darkness Becomes Her" is now updated. Chaptuers up to 5 are now added, and the first two chapters have also been updated, I've slightly updated the submission guidelines regarding fanfiction.net Also I've removed two fanarts under Lollipop's listing. Don't freak this isn't a bad thing. It was my mistake you see. Since his and another site of a friend of his (the japanese carrie shrine) are both in japanese and with Babelfish not properly trnalsating names I initialy mistook both of them for the same person. So the two removed were pictures not created by Lollipop but another artist. I should have recognized the different drawing styles right off the bat so my bad on that. And if you miss the pics don't worry I'll add them back along with others later, after I've properly acredited the artist.

CFAS aparently has become so popular it was causing my tripod webspace to hit a bandwidth cap. I had already been preparing to migrate the site and now it's happened. If all went well you're reading this on stalo.com. Stalo is hosted by Mac whom you probably know from the forum. Stalo runs from an ISP with a dual T1 line, and sits on an uninteruptable power suply. The biggest difference you'll notice is that the Tripod banners and popups are gone. Also we have a shorter URL. So remember http://cfas.stalo.com That's CFAS hosted on stalo with a .com stuck on the end.

A smaller update today. I've edited the members listing to only contain actual people. The affiliate websites have been moved to their own section which you'll notice on the main page. That will make updating a little easier for me and more obvious for first timers to find the links section. Also Kevin Fong's Darkness Becomes Me fanfic was prematurely added. Happy New Year everyone. Can you believe CFAS has been around for 3 years already? Some members have just signed up and gone quiet and nothing wrong with that. Participation isn't necessary for being a fan. It's just cool that they declared their fandom for a character in a game that isn't "cool" and wasn't even on a popular system. But hey it's a good game and a cool character. We can like what we want to.
My new years resolutions. Get a decent job, Build a robot.. ..yeah you heard me. a robot. Incidentaly my favorite CV boss is the gear boss from Bloodlines. And finaly to write more fanfics and sharpen up my writing skills.
Anyway by now you're sick of hearing me talk so on to the updates. Fanfics have been updated with three pieces from Kevin Fong who may well be a new master of angst if he keeps it up. Chapter 22 of Dark Haven is up. Darkness Becomes her has been added, the second chapter of Darkness Becomes her is added. In addition I've made a small fanart update. A mouse art added that I did to test the optical mouse my brother got me for Christmas, and I've re edited the "Carrie Casting a Spell" pic which is now larger and just plain better than the old version. It's noted in the description as well so you won't miss it.
Finaly I've updated submission guidelines with a little extra info about fanfics. I haven't actually had problems with people sending .doc files but I figured I'd add a bit of info just in case. Anyway here's to another year of CFAS.

Several new chapters of the fanfic Dark Haven have been added so go and enjoy. I'll get the ending of it up soon. Also thanks to Pyst Dude a number of high res screenshots from CV64 have been added in pics. As for CV news...There is no news today. I guess I could pass on the Lament of Innocence reviews for people who don't check them. Graphics good, music...(it's castlevania of course the music rocks hard), gameplay average though lagged a bit by block puzzles and repetative jumps, Story downright bad. overall Xplay gave it a 3/5 the middle of the board average score.

A small update today. A new link added in members. Lolipop actually told me about this site a year ago but I lost the URL and only found it again recently. It's a pretty good art site but I can't get babelfish to propelry translate the name. Must be in Kanji. I also added a new Wallpaper from Quita. Finally I'd like to say that a friend of mine has found a scanner and is currently working on it so soon I may be able to scan new fanart for the site. That's all for now. Hopefully a bigger update later.

Damn I'm so lazy. I've been working on this update for a little while. First of all Reinhardt changed his email address, New fanart from Lolypop, and Pyst dude with his Carrie sprites. A tiny bit more info on the official info page. Finally just for me I renamed the files related to the fanfic "My tainted childhood" from "Tainted-Child" to "taincild" why you ask? Because when I'm on WinMX (file sharing program) people kept downloading the file. Buncha friggin' perverts out there.

Two new members added and some fanart and a wallpaper by me. Also thanks to Pyst dude for suplying some of the concept art from CV64. You'll find those in the pics section. since some of the older pics were cut from the full scans I've deleted some redundant pics. Enjoy. One final bit of news. Aparenlty Konami is taking the dip into the realm of 3D castlevania again. I've only seen two screenshots on a japanese website. It might be an attempt to revive CV resurection and suposedly it will be on PS2 (though that's only rumor) I'll try to get updated info on the forum later.

Updates today. First of all our newest member is Pyst Dude. Second I've added the official info section I was talking about on the Forum. It's still a baby so it's going to be growing as time goes by. And for the newbies I've added the submissions Guidelines section. Fan stuff has been updated with my colored version of one of Saria's pics (listed under my works) hope it's okay with her. I can't seem to contact her to get permission. Finally... HOLY CRAP. I hadn't even realized the site had been around for one year much less for TWO. *Sniff* they grow up so fast.

Whew that was a hard 2 weeks. I'm back and glat to be here. I thank good friends for it and count my blessings. In the time I would normally have been surfing...let's just say I was playing A LOT of Castlevania. Anyway on to the updates. First of all Apologies to Edgar as he would have preffered a different name and is now known as "SimonGranCarnal" I've changed his name in the members section to reflect this. In addition say Hello to Holyice7 our newest member. Also I got a description up for Lollipop. When he signed up there was kind of a language barrier so I couldn't get his description but I found he had one on his website. Sadly it seems his website is down now. Hope he'll fix it. Been drawing a lot of fanart lately. Too bad I have no scanner. But my luck is getting better so mabey I'll find one. That's all for now.

Took me long enough but I updated again. New fanfic from me "Malus is Malus" and three chapters of the very kickass fic Trials of the heart. New Member (also named Malus) Geez lots of Malus involved in this update. I know it took a long time I'm a lazy bastard. If anyone had something I forgot please do tell me. One of the great things about the net is that one can so easilly alter his identity. Well So you all know such an alteration has happened. Resident CFAS member Alucard has chosen a somewhat more unique name: Gaibon. You'll find his email address has changed too. I've changed his entries on the site to reflect that. Sorry there haven't been many updates. Uhg this cold weather has screwed me up.

A little update for all of you guys still waiting for me to get that scanner. I added a new pic of Carrie in the pics of Carrie section. It's another look at those prototype pics.
